  An excellent church in the heart of Detroit's Midtown. The 1st UU of Detroit has been home to good people, great thinkers, and liberal religion for a really long time here in the D!

  Warm, welcoming, diverse congregation. Parishioners gather for conversation over coffee and baked goods after the service. Come as you are- this group is beyond tolerant.

  Imagine a religion that does not tell you what to believe. Does not insist that one particular doctrine is the only truth. That is UU. No dogma or doctrine. It is a place of freedom and exploration.
