  I cannot begin to express how disappointed I am with this church. These people need a reality check. We (photographers) are paid thousands of dollars to capture these monumental shots and these people take away our ability to do so and waste the bride and grooms money in the process! DO NOT GET MARRIED HERE. Please just trust me on this if you want your wedding to be captured by professionals. This church has the most ridiculous rules against photographers. I was hired to capture important photos (bride down the isle, grooms first look, etc.) However their rules are SO strict, they prevent you from ALL OF THOS SHOTS. You are not allowed to pass the first row of seating and when the bride was walking down the isle one of the church organizers approached me and told me I had to move all the way behind everyone standing watching her walk. Unbelievable! I immediately walked back to where I typically shoot a bride walking down the isle because if I had not I would have MISSED THE SHOT! I will never take on another job that requires me to shoot here because I was placed in the most uncomfortable situation of my life. Yes, I had to break their rules in order to do my job and then the lady who organizes the weddings got in my face about it. Life goes on!

  This grand church offers a taste of the old Detroit along side the ever loving Grace of the Presbyterian Faith.
