  I had my wedding at Sweetest Heart of Mary church. It is such a beautiful church! You have to go there for mass to fully take in its beauty. I was married a few years ago and my family and friends STILL talk about how beautiful of a church it is!

  Absolutely beautiful and breathtakingly intricate architecture. I'd give 5 stars, but I don't actually know how good the masses or sermons are since I only see it during their massive Christmas midnight mass.

  Takes your breath away and the Mass is celebrated beautifully, complete with communion rail.

  There are so many amazing old churches in Detroit, and this is one of them. As many others have noted, the stained glass is stunning, as is the entire altar area. If you're visiting other churches near downtown, this one is worth the trip as well. I just wish they kept building churches like this.

  One of the oldest churches in Detroit. You don't see architectural churches like these anymore.
